PRINCIPALSHIP - Levels 1 & 2


DESCRIPTION

A Principal serves as the instructional leader in an elementary, middle, or high school. Candidates will gain the knowledge and strategies to transform teaching and learning within diverse settings to positively impact student achievement. We endeavor to prepare competent educator leaders who will be known, individually and collectively, by their exceptional qualities of leadership, and who will, in turn, cultivate similar qualities in those they teach and lead.

Upon successful completion of the program requirements, candidates will be recommended for certification for School Principal Grades P-12.

Level 1 certification-only: 18 hours

Level 2: 6 hours

Master’s tuition: 30 hours

 

The Level I Certification-only program is a 18 credit hour program. The Level II Certification program is a 6 credit hour program. The Master’s program is a 30 credit hour program. There are no in-person class meetings. Assignments and project implementation can be based on your current or desired employment.
